The District’s Foundation operates as a separate legal entity as the San Diego Community College District Foundation (SDCCD Foundation). The SDCCD Foudnation was formed in 1990 to promote and assist the programs of the SDCCD in accordance with the mission, policies and priorities of the District as administered by the District Chancellor.
