District celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with exhibits, music, and more

Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15 to coincide with the independence dates of five Latin America countries and the independence of Mexico on Sept. 16. Originally a weeklong event, it now runs until October 16.
All Hispanic Heritage Month events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
