Chancellor search process - Progress Report No. 2

August 31, 2020 | Maria Nieto Senour, Ph.D. - President, Board of Trustees

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am pleased to provide an update on the progress to identify the next Chancellor of the San Diego Community College District (SDCCD). We remain committed to conducting an equitable, fair, inclusive, and transparent national search.

Chancellor Profile: in late-July a survey was distributed to solicit input on the challenges and opportunities facing the SDCCD and the desired experiences and skills of our new chancellor. I would like to thank everyone who completed the survey. Your input was valuable and helped inform the Chancellor Profile.

On August 11, the Chancellor Search Committee reviewed and revised the Chancellor Profile and it was accepted by the Board of Trustees at our August Board meeting.
