Get ready to don your capes and masks because Keeping the Promise is back, and it's time for you to become a superhero for a day!

We are thrilled to announce the return of Keeping the Promise, the most epic giving day in support of the free-tuition program, San Diego Promise. For 24 hours on October 18, 2023, San Diego Community College District faculty, classified professionals, administrators and community members will come together to make a difference.

All gifts made during the Keeping the Promise giving day will support San Diego Promise students enrolled at San Diego City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges.

Over the years the San Diego Promise has powerfully evolved from a program that provided two years of free tuition for first time/full time students, to a program that reaches our most vulnerable students, including current and former foster youth, veterans, justice impacted students, students returning to school after years in the workforce, and those students who cannot attend full-time due to family and work obligations. As a result, this fall we had more than 6,000 applications with almost 3,000 students signing contracts for the Promise so far.

We hope you'll join us on October 18 in supporting the San Diego Promise. Until then, sharpen your superhero skills, and get ready for an action-packed day of giving!
