Open registration begins April 28 for Summer Session

April 5, 2023 | San Diego Community College District

Open registration for summer session classes at the San Diego Community College District begins April 28. With the lowest tuition fees in the nation at $46 per unit, summer classes are a great affordable way to get ahead.

Students can choose from hundreds of classes at San Diego City, Mesa and Miramar colleges, and the San Diego College of Continuing Education. Among popular options are general education classes, such as math and English at City, Mesa and Miramar colleges, which are needed by both community college transfer students and university students. Summer session classes at the credit colleges start June 5.

Class Schedule

Earlier than ever before, open registration for fall begins May 22 with classes starting at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges on August 21. The new, advanced registration period will allow students to plan for a schedule that aligns with their goals and needs for the rest of the year. For the fall semester, City, Mesa and Miramar colleges will offer thousands of classes in more than 400 academic programs with flexible hours from short-term, late start, Saturday and online course options. Hundreds of free career training classes at the College of Continuing Education begin June 12 for the summer session and on September 5 for the fall semester.
