Congresswoman Sara Jacobs secured nearly $2 million in federal funding for the Family Resource Center at San Diego Mesa College and the San Diego Miramar College Police Academy. Congresswoman Sara Jacobs secured nearly $2 million in federal funding for the Family Resource Center at San Diego Mesa College and the San Diego Miramar College Police Academy. These funds will give Mesa students with children a place to study, attend workshops, and build a network. The funding will also support Police Academy cadets at Miramar by updating their instructional equipment and training equipment among other facilities.
