How do I Login and Activate my account?

  1. Browse to https://sdccd-edu.zoom.us/
  2. Select Activate
  3. Login using your SDCCD email and login information.

What is my username and password?

How to enable Zoom in Canvas

  1. Log into your SDCCD Zoom account.
  2. In the same browser, log into your Canvas account.
  3. In Canvas, open the course where you want to add Zoom.
  4. In Course Navigation, click the Settings link.
  5. Click the Navigation tab.
  6. In the list of course navigation menu options, select the SDCCD Zoom option.
  7. Click the Options icon and select the Enable option.
  8. Click the Save button. View the Zoom link in Course Navigation.
    Note: When accessing Zoom for the first time in the course navigation, you may need to click the Authorize button to proceed.

Does Zoom allow Recording?

Yes, Zoom can record videos to the cloud or on the computer.

Computer recordings are saved directly to your computer.

Cloud recordings are stored on the Zoom Cloud, allowing them to be viewed, shared, and downloaded for up to one year of storage. For longer storage, please see below for additional options.

What are my options for storing videos?

If you want to retain any of your Zoom recordings, plan to download to a local drive and store:

    1. 3CMedia Solutions (streaming & professional captioning)
    2. Canvas Studio (streaming; auto+diy captioning)
    3. Or into your 365 OneDrive (non-streaming)

How to Use AI Companion

Meeting Summary with Zoom AI Companion uses AI technology, which may include third-party models, and allows meeting hosts to initiate an AI-generated summary of their meeting. Check out the AI Companion guide
