Associate Vice Chancellor, Information Technology and Learning Systems

Christopher Blackmore has been the Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Technology & Learning Systems for the Riverside Community College District since 2016, with oversight of all district information services including enterprise applications, infrastructure & systems, cybersecurity, and web services.

In his previous role with the Coast Community College District, he served as Director of Academic & Technology Support. Mr. Blackmore was responsible for campus information technology operations and leading the technology planning process.

Before starting his career in higher education, Mr. Blackmore spent 22 years with the California Franchise Tax Board in various information technology and management roles.

AVC Blackmore holds an MBA/Information Systems from California State University, Long Beach and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach.
