Leading the Way
In partnership with the California Department of Rehabilitation, SDCCD offers three workforce development programs that help students with disabilities prepare for employment. We work with employers to simplify the process of recruiting and hiring qualified candidates.

National Resources
- National Organization on Disability – Provides employers with tools to create welcoming, accommodating workplaces. Their Campus-to-Careers Roadmap is a robust tool for learning about and improving disability inclusion in your company.
- Job Accommodation Network – Helps employers create more disability-inclusive workplaces. Their Workplace Accommodation Toolkit contains actionable policies and processes from leading U.S. businesses, a suite of accommodation forms, training presentations, and role play videos modeling inclusive behaviors.
- Employer Assistance and Resource Network – Provides resources to help employers recruit, hire, retain and advance job-seekers with disabilities. Their Disability At Work Toolkit offers effective strategies across all stages of the employment process, and their Inclusion@Work Framework is an excellent self-paced module for further exploration.
