Accreditation
The three colleges of the San Diego Community College District, San Diego City College, Mesa College, and Miramar College are accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). ACCJC is an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Commission for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. San Diego College of Continuing Education, also part of the San Diego Community College District, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools (ACS) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
