• 95% Construction Documents received in May 2026
• Budgetary ROM estimate anticipated by the end of May 2026
• Multiple scope overview meetings were held with campus teams in June 2026 to present the Emergency Communication System (ECS) project scope. The meetings provided stakeholders with an opportunity to review the proposed improvements and provide feedback during the design phase, prior to the award of the construction contract

Project Features

Provide a comprehensive emergency communication system (ECS) upgrade and modernization including replacement of existing emergency call stations, implementation of new IP-based devices, and integration with the district's network-based ECS platform.

• Remove and replace existing ECS devices identified on the drawings and in the owner-provided device inventory (refer to sheet ec701). Existing devices consist of a mix of legacy analog (Viking) and IP-based (Blazecast) emergency call stations.
• Provide new ECS devices at locations indicated on the drawings, including all required mounting hardware, backboxes, and accessories.
• Provide new infrastructure for all new and replacement ECS devices, including category 6A cabling, pathways, backboxes, and associated connectivity to support full system functionality.
