Enroll in the AAAI Course

The AAAI Micro-Credential course is a comprehensive program developed by students, faculty, and staff just like you to enhance your understanding of generative AI. The course consists of five learning modules focusing on practical skills and takes two to four hours to complete. Participants who successfully complete the course and all activities will earn a digital badge and the SDCCD AAAI Micro-Credential certification.

AAAI FAQs

Question: I clicked the ‘Click Here’ link, but I am getting an error message. How do I enroll in the course?

  • Answer: Make sure you are enrolled in the current and/or following semester. Students that are not enrolled in credit courses will not have access to Canvas.
  • Important Note: If you are only enrolled for a future semester and not for the current semester, you may receive an error. If this applies to you, please try enrolling again closer to your semester's official start date.

Question: I am enrolled in courses for the current semester, and I still can’t add the course. How do I enroll in the course?

  • Answer: If you added a class for the current semester recently, please allow up to a day for Canvas to be activated.

Question: I am still having trouble enrolling in the course. Is there any other way to enroll?

  • Answer: If you are having issues with the link provided in the course email, visit our AAAI course page and use the “Click Here to Enroll” button to enroll.

Question: I am a Continuing Education student; can I still enroll in the course?

  • Answer: Yes. All currently enrolled SDCCD students are eligible to enroll in the course.

Question: When I try to log in to Canvas, I am receiving an error saying Canvas doesn’t have an account for me. How do I enroll?

Question: I finished the course and submitted the badge request form. When will I receive my digital literacy badge?

  • Answer: You can expect to receive the badge within 14 business days after submission.
