SDCCD provides free tuition and support services to thousands of students annually through the San Diego Promise program. Additionally, millions in financial aid is distributed across the district each year. Most people don't know what they qualify for until they check.

First-Time Students
You want to go to college. We have Counselors who will sit down with you and map out every step.
You don't have to walk in knowing how this works. Whether you're enrolled at San Diego City, Mesa, Miramar, or Continuing Educaiton college, there are counselors available to meet with you one-on-one and help you figure out what you're working toward, what courses to take, and what your next step looks like.

You want a head start. We have a program that lets you earn college credits now.
SDCCD's dual enrollment program lets you take college courses before you graduate high school. Those credits count toward your degree later, which means you can finish a college program faster and for less money.
San Diego City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges offer eligible high school students the opportunity to earn college credit toward associate degrees, certificates, and transfer requirements, while San Diego College of Continuing Education offers free non-credit courses in career technical training and skill-building. Students can enroll in these college courses alongside their high school studies through dual enrollment.
