If you or someone you know has experienced sex or gender based harassment and/or discrimination, there are many resources available at the colleges and in the community to assist you. A partial list of resources for both students and employees is provided below, including confidential resources.

Confidential resources for students

If a student is seeking more personal confidential support, there are designated confidential resources at each campus. Offices designated as "confidential" will not report any information to the Title IX Coordinator. These conversations are kept strictly confidential and, except in rare, extreme circumstances (including imminent risk of harm to self or others) nothing will be shared without your permission.

Counseling Services for Employees

SPEAK and Victim Advocate for Students & Employees

Speak

SPEAK aims to unite and inspire the San Diego Community College District in cultivating a community free of violence. SPEAK provides violence prevention education and offers free and confidential services for those who have experienced sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual violence or intimate partner violence, contact an Advocate that can provide resources and assistance. An Advocate from Center for Community Solutions can be reached at (858) 272-5777. Advocates are confidential resources and any details relating to your incident will not be reported to the District without your consent.

Medical Resources for Students & Employees

Prompt medical attention is important. Medical providers can treat injuries and test for pregnancy or STDs. To speak with a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner about getting a forensic exam, please call Palomar Forensic Health Services during business hours at (760) 739-2150.
